Our commitment to transparency

We believe that clarity builds trust — and that includes being upfront about costs.

From your first contact, we’ll help you understand your coverage, any anticipated out-of-pocket costs, and payment options so you can focus on what truly matters — your healing.

Therapy Rates:

Intake sessions are billed at $250 per 50-minute intake. All subsequent therapy sessions are billed at $200 per 50-minute session.

For clients who are paying out of pocket, we offer a discounted rate of $150 per session.

We also accept HSA and FSA cards, and payment is due at the time of service.

Insurance:

Tacoma Wellness Collective is in-network with the following insurance providers and we bill these providers directly on your behalf:

Regence
Premera
Blue Cross Blue Shield
Kaiser
Lifewise
Aetna
Anthem
TriWest

If your plan isn’t listed, you may still be able to use your out-of-network benefits.

We’re happy to provide a superbill at your request that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

Payment Policies:

To make billing seamless, payment is due at the time of service.

We require that all clients keep a credit or debit card securely stored on file unless other arrangements have been made.

This allows us to simplify billing, prevent missed payments, and keep your focus on care rather than logistics.

Insurance Verification & Communication:

When you contact us, we’ll collect your insurance information to verify your benefits before your first appointment.

Within 1–2 business days, our team will email you with your coverage details and anticipated out-of-pocket cost based on your plan.

This way, you’ll know exactly what to expect — no surprises, no hidden fees.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments:

We understand that life happens and schedules change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice so we can offer that time to another client.

Appointments that are missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are billed at our cash pay rate of $150, as insurance does not cover missed sessions.

We appreciate your understanding that this policy helps us maintain fairness and consistency for both clients and therapists.

Financial Accessibility:

We understand that therapy is an investment — not only financially, but emotionally.

A limited number of reduced-fee appointments are available for clients experiencing financial hardship. If cost is a barrier to care, please reach out to discuss current availability.
