Meet Haley
Haley Elliott (she/her) became a counselor because she believes there is something deeply meaningful and healing about being truly seen, heard, understood, and accepted. She knows that life can bring unexpected challenges and seasons when we feel uncertain, overwhelmed, or disconnected from ourselves, and she feels honored to offer a space where clients do not have to navigate those experiences alone. Haley’s goal is to walk alongside her clients with curiosity, compassion, and openness as they make sense of their experiences, discover their strengths, and move toward the life they want to create.
Haley earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gonzaga University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA from a CACREP-accredited program, and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Human Development from Washington State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Her clinical experience includes providing individual counseling services to clients navigating anxiety, grief, neurodivergence, depression, trauma, life transitions, and interpersonal concerns.
Haley works with young adults, adults, and older adults and enjoys supporting people from diverse cultural backgrounds and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Haley is a Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist (CAGS) and has a particular interest in supporting individuals through experiences of loss and grief. She is also passionate about working with clients experiencing anxiety, trauma, life transitions, interpersonal or relational challenges, identify exploration, and other difficult life experiences. She believes that each person brings their own story, strengths, values, culture and experiences into the therapy room and she strives to honor and understand the whole person rather than focusing solely on symptoms.

Growth is not about reaching a final version of ourselves, but about continuing to move toward what matters most to us.
In the therapy room, Haley’s style is warm, relational, collaborative, and client-centered. She believes therapy should be a place where you can show up as your authentic self without fear of judgment. Rather than seeing herself as someone who has all the answers, Haley views her role as a guide who walks alongside her clients as they explore their experiences and take meaningful steps toward healing and growth.
Haley draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), tailoring her approach to each client’s needs, goals, and preferences.
Haley hopes that clients leave therapy feeling understood, supported, and more confident in themselves and their ability to navigate what comes next. She often reminds clients that they do not have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. Growth is not always linear and healing does not have to happen all at once. Sometimes the first step is simply creating space to pause, notice what is happening, and begin understanding yourself with greater compassion.
