Meet Kimberlee
Kimberlee Jackson (she/her) is a trauma-focused therapist whose work is grounded in compassion, steady presence, and deep respect for the human nervous system. She brings years of experience supporting children, families, and adults through overwhelm, trauma, and the long-term impact of difficult life events. Kimberlee’s professional path has taken her through school support roles, statewide public service, and community-based nonprofit work — giving her a wide lens into the systems people navigate and the emotional weight many carry long before they ever step into therapy.
Her career began in local school districts, where she worked closely with young children and discovered her natural ability to create safety, structure, and calm for kids who were struggling. During graduate school, she deepened her understanding of trauma, systemic stress, and the barriers that often keep people from accessing care. Her internships took her into virtual therapy training, houseless outreach programs, and school-based support for children facing behavioral and emotional challenges. These experiences shaped her commitment to trauma-informed work and her passion for helping people rebuild trust in themselves at a pace that feels safe.
Kimberlee feels most connected to clients who carry anxiety, depression, PTSD, emotional overwhelm, or the lingering echoes of old wounds. She is drawn to people who feel stuck or disconnected from themselves — individuals who want to feel steady again, understand their feelings, and move through life with more grounding and less fear. Her hope is that clients walk away from their first session feeling seen, supported, and just a little more hopeful than when they arrived.

Healing doesn’t require perfection - just small, consistent steps toward safety and self-understanding.
Kimberlee’s style in the therapy room is calm, grounded, and warm. She brings a steady, compassionate presence that helps clients slow down, breathe, and feel safe enough to explore what’s coming up. Her work is collaborative — not forceful — and she honors each person’s lived experience as the foundation of the healing process. Kimberlee blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness-based practices, somatic awareness, and elements of Internal Family Systems to help clients reconnect with their bodies and build safer internal worlds.
Grounding skills are one of her favorite tools to teach — simple, accessible techniques that help clients regulate their nervous systems and return to the present. She checks in often, offers choices, and listens with full presence so clients feel understood instead of overwhelmed. Her belief is that healing unfolds in relationships, not in pressure — and that progress happens in small, steady steps that honor the body’s pace.
In Kimberlee’s words:
A book I love to recommend : Daring Greatly by Brene Brown is one of my favorite books because it captures the courage it takes to show up authentically - especially in the midst of vulnerability, shame, or uncertainty. Her work resonates deeply with me as a trauma-focused therapist because it reminds us that healing isn’t about being fearless; it’s about allowing ourselves to be seen, to take risks, and to believe we’re worthy of connection.
Random Fun Fact about me: Going to the mountains is my favorite activity. It allows me to think, breathe deep fresh air, and restart when I need it most.
When it’s time for self-care, you’ll find me: Pampering myself, watching my favorite shows, spending time with my daughter and family.
